Where Was God?
May 20, 2013––an EF5 tornado ripped through Moore, OK. The magnitude of devastation measured over eight times greater than the atomic bomb that leveled Hiroshima. As the world watched, one question continued to surface–Where Was God?
This story follows several families and individuals who recount the timeline of destruction and share their experiences of the devastating and miraculous events that changed their lives forever.
I had the opportunity to serve as the VFX artist for this film. I created 2 shots used in one of the trailers and 3 shots used in the film, as well as the studio motion logo for Behold Motion Pictures. Below is one of the trailers for the film and the VFX breakdown for that shot.
Filmed on location in Hollis, OK, Hollis is the story of a young man’s struggle between caring for his disabled brother and pursuing his dreams as far away as he can from the town that has little to offer to his ambition.
When it seems as though Darryl has finally found his ticket out of town, he discovers that his freedom will only come by paying the ultimate price.
I had the pleasure of doing the VFX and compositing for the movie Hollis which premiered for 2 sold out crowds at the 2015 DeadCenter Film Festival in OKC. Please visit http://hollisfilm.com for more information.

In 2015 I worked on a 48 Hour Film Festival team, Team Limelight, in OKC creating the film "Heroes of the Realm. I served on the VFX team on set and in post production and edited part of the film. The film is currently in it's festival run. It has shown at several festivals and one a few awards.
